Picture a Canadian apartment bathroom at 7 a.m. One adult, one toddler, one tub, one toilet, and roughly the floor space of a generous doormat. Now add a plastic throne shaped like a duck. Something has to give, and it’s usually your shin. That’s the quiet problem with 3-in-1 potty chairs for small bathrooms. The … Read more
Potty chairs for toddlers are small, floor-level seats that let a child sit with both feet planted on the ground, usually with a removable bowl you empty after each use. Unlike adapters that perch on the family toilet, they let toddlers practise at their own pace, in their own space, without a single scary climb. … Read more
Picture it. It’s 7:40 a.m., you’re running late, and a very small person stands in front of a very tall sink with their arms raised like a conductor waiting for the orchestra. Picture it. A 27-month-old perched on an adult toilet, legs dangling like a tiny commuter on a bar stool, knuckles white on the seat rim. Nothing is happening. If that scene sounds familiar, you already know that daytime potty training and nighttime potty training are two completely different beasts — a kid can be dry … Read more
Training pants are pull-on underwear-style products, disposable or reusable, that sit between a diaper and regular underwear, absorbing accidents while letting a toddler practice pulling clothing up and down independently. If you’re standing in the diaper aisle right now, phone in hand, trying to figure out which box actually deserves a spot in your cart, … Read more
Somewhere between the third overnight leak and the fourth Google search at 2 a.m., every cloth diapering parent lands on the same worry: is this rash cream about to undo six months of careful laundry routine? It’s a fair worry, and a common one. Diaper rash cream for cloth diapers isn’t just a gentler version … Read more
Somewhere around 2 a.m., every Canadian parent has the same realization at the same time: the tiny human screaming in the next room is not hungry, not cold, and not simply “being a baby.” They have a red, angry bottom, and nothing you do seems to help. Welcome to the club nobody warns you about. … Read more
